Connects AI Credit terms

Launch review draft · Version 2026-10-credits-v3. Credit sales remain disabled. These proposed commercial terms have no sales effective date yet; regional consumer-rights and prepaid-credit classification review is still required.

1. What credits provide

Connects AI Credits are account units for supported AI generation. They do not buy a Connects subscription, a domain, guaranteed output, ownership rights in third-party material, or a particular business outcome. Your Connects plan still determines editing, publishing and custom-domain access. The first eligible free starter build remains separately included. AI output must be reviewed before publication.

2. Included credits and reset dates

The proposed allowance is 100 introductory credits once per eligible verified account and 1,000 included credits for each active paid monthly allocation window. Annual subscribers receive the current monthly allocation while their annual subscription remains active, not 12,000 credits upfront. The wallet displays the current reset date. Included monthly credits expire at that window’s end and do not roll over; missed windows do not accumulate. Switching billing intervals, recreating a storefront or changing its address does not create another introductory grant or reset an existing monthly window. Existing beta and migration protections shown in your account continue during rollout.

3. Purchased credits

Purchased top-ups are kept separately and are intended not to expire. Canceling a Connects subscription does not erase a valid purchased balance. Included monthly and introductory credits are consumed before purchased credits. All legitimate balances belong to the same Connects account across supported web and mobile clients. They cannot be sold, gifted, transferred to another account, or exchanged for cash except where applicable law requires otherwise.

4. Estimates, reservations and failures

Starting action rates and examples are illustrations, not guaranteed output counts. Scope, model usage and complexity can require a higher charge. Material-cost work shows an estimated or maximum credit charge for your approval before it begins. The system reserves that maximum, settles the applicable completed work within it, and releases the unused portion. A failed job does not retain its reservation or deduct generation credits. If an interrupted or duplicate request leaves an incorrect deduction, reconciliation must release or reverse it in your transaction history. Retrying failed work is a new request with a new estimate; it must not duplicate a prior successful charge. Partial results are charged only under a separately disclosed and approved supported workflow.

4a. Short assistance and extended planning

Short assistance is free only within the displayed fair-use and spending safeguards. Longer planning work has a separate approved credit estimate and does not silently run as unlimited free conversation. The prepared policy caps short assistance at five requests per hour, ten per day, $0.05 of estimated or recorded provider exposure per day and $0.10 over a rolling 30-day period. Failed attempts still count toward spending safeguards because they may incur provider costs. These are launch-review settings, not an activated allowance or a promise of unlimited future assistance. All generations and internal repair calls belonging to one approved action settle together; duplicate delivery does not create another customer charge.

5. Subscription changes and account access

Cancellation normally ends subscription access at the displayed paid-period boundary. Included allocations stop when eligibility ends; current-window credits follow the displayed expiry. Changing subscriptions does not duplicate an allocation. Purchased credits remain visible, but they do not unlock website editing after the free publication limit or restore paid-only functions. Viewing account data, exporting it, managing billing and contacting support remain available under the Connects account policies. No credits are silently forfeited solely because a subscription was canceled.

6. Purchases, receipts and refunds

Web top-ups are one-time USD purchases. The full price and any applicable taxes appear before checkout confirmation. There is no automatic refill or saved-card overage; a separate, explicit authorization would be required before any future automatic-purchase program. Adding a payment method or reaching a return page does not grant credits: verified collected payment does. Purchase history records confirmed allocations and adjustments, with the processor’s receipt when available. App purchases, when supported, use the applicable Apple or Google purchase flow and their refund procedures.

Contact support with your purchase reference for an incorrect charge, an uncredited purchase, unused-credit refund request or a legally required redemption. Requests are assessed under applicable law and the payment channel’s rules; these terms do not replace mandatory refund, cancellation, cash-redemption, cooling-off or other consumer rights. No blanket waiver or universal “non-refundable” condition applies.

7. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks

A verified refund can reverse the associated credits proportionately. An unresolved payment dispute can freeze the disputed purchase’s credits; a verified resolution can restore eligible credits. These adjustments are recorded in the ledger. If affected credits were already spent, the wallet can show a recoverable credit adjustment that offsets future top-ups. Connects will not silently debit a bank account or charge a saved payment method to recover it. Contact support to challenge an incorrect adjustment.

8. Restrictions and pricing changes

Account sharing, fraudulent payments, automated introductory-credit resets, resale and attempts to bypass security or usage limits are prohibited. Security or fraud reviews may restrict generation or purchases while preserving the financial record and applicable consumer rights. Contact support for review. New action prices and package offers apply prospectively with the required notice; they do not retroactively change completed deductions or the number of credits issued by a completed purchase. Never assume that a credit balance guarantees a fixed number of future generations.

9. Account closure and legal rights

Account closure and deletion follow the Connects terms and privacy policy. Request resolution of any purchased balance before closing the account. Required financial records may be retained separately from storefront content. No provision removes statutory rights or promises compliance with every jurisdiction. Final launch requires review of selling regions, prepaid-value classification, legally required refunds and redemptions, tax treatment and app-store conditions.
